Product Info: BENYLIN® Children’s Chesty Coughs Non-Drowsy works to thin and loosen the phlegm that is causing the cough, allowing it to be coughed up more easily, relieving discomfort.
It comes in sugar-free, strawberry flavour and has a non-drowsy formula to help your child feel better.
BENYLIN® Children’s Chesty Coughs Non-Drowsy contains an active ingredient, guaifenesin, which works on the body by thinning and loosening phlegm build up in the chest, making it easier to cough up.
How to Use: For oral use only.
Do not use more than the stated dose shown.
Dosage: Children 6-12 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls 4 times daily
No more than 4 doses should be given in any 24hrs. If symptoms persist for more than 5 days, talk to your doctor or pharmacist
Not suitable for children under 6 years.
Active Ingredients: The active substance is Guaifenesin. The other ingredients are: Glycerol, sorbitol liquid (non-crystallising) (E420), carmellose sodium, sodium citrate, sodium saccharin, sodium benzoate (E211), citric acid monohydrate, strawberry flavour (containing benzyl alcohol, ethanol and propylene glycol (E1520)) and water.
